How to cut your cake

It may sound like a straight forward thing but to ensure you get the maximum amount of slices from your cake here are a few tips to help out. There is also an image below that shows slice sizes and a cutting guide.

  • Cut your cake with the help of a chopping board. Holding the board against the side of the cake allows for the cake to be placed rather then fall. You can then move the chopping board and cut that slice into smaller sizes.

  • Remove the cake from the fridge approx 1 hour before serving. This helps the cake come to room temp allowing the knife to cut through easier.
